Scott Harvey

Scott is a Los Angeles, California based people photographer specializing in location shooting since he was in high school.  Scott believes that there is energy in every great photo and that the job of the photographer is to capture that energy.  

Scott was born and grew up in the small desert town of Lancaster, CA in 1974 where his parents owned a small cattle ranch that later converted to sheep.  He started to develop his passion for photography in high school where he focused on portraits, sports and still life.  In college he pursued a degree in computer information systems while also developing his style in photography by shooting anyone who would stand in front of his lens. 

Life took over and it wasn’t until the birth of his daughter that his passion for photography reemerged. 

In photography, Scott has found a fondness for location shooting.  His lighting kit consists of high powered batter powered strobes that allow him to control the natural light.  In the studio, Scott also has developed his seamless pure white shots that can easily be composed into advertising layouts.

Scott has also started to do event photography and is available to shoot events either in a photo journalistic style or capturing posed entry shots.  This can be done as either a package deal or by allowing guests to purchase photos at http://scottphotos.zenfolio.com

Scott is available for assignment not only in Los Angeles, but around the world.
